Great Downs

The Great Downs are a huge area of rolling hills, interspersed with flat plains. The plain grassland goes on for miles in every direction. There are no real towns or villages anywhere on the Great Downs, as the land here is very poor for growing crops and often too hard and dry to build anything on. There are a few little shanty towns here and there though, but most have been long since abandoned, although you do come across one or two small groups of nomads living in tents.
